Are you a DIYer? That would be “Do It Yourselfer” There are many of us out there. The wise DIYer knows when to ask for help. Installing a Citizen Watch band is rarely a do-it-yourself job. The reason is simple: there are typically special tools and sometimes special knowledge required to install a band or strap properly. To lock a band in place sometimes requires several steps that watch owners would not be aware of. It looks deceivingly simple but it can be much more than meets the eye.
Here at Hurley Roberts Service we have seen DIYers attempt to work on their own watches with unfortunate consequences. A poorly installed watchband has led to watches falling off the wrist at the most inconvenient of times. A worst case scenario had one customer’s watch fall off without being noticed...never to be recovered...and that’s sad.
Local jewelry stores do not typically stock Citizen Watch bands and straps. But they typically are very willing and are very capable of installing a band or strap you purchase from us. As your Authorized Citizen Factory Service Center we sell thousands of Citizen Watch bands, straps and bracelets. After placing an order from us and having the item(s) shipped to you for free, take your watch and the parts you receive to your local jeweler or watchmaker for install. You can then rest assured that will be able to enjoy your watch for many years to come!
We look forward to serving you :-)
